MARDAŞ joined the certified ports within the scope of the Green Port-Eco Port Project. MARDAŞ received the “Green Port-Eco Port Project Sectoral Criteria Certificate” by fulfilling the conditions specified in the guide published by TSE.
Based on the fact that it is used as an element of prestige and competition among the ports of developed countries, MARDAŞ (Mardaş Marmara Deniz İşletmecilik A.Ş.) is among the certified ports within the scope of the “Green Port-Eco Port Project” initiated in Turkey by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure in cooperation with TSE. ) also participated.

It received the “Green Port-Eco Port Project Sectoral Criteria Certificate” by fulfilling the conditions specified in the “Green Port Sectoral Criteria Guide” published by TSE with the 2014 Occupational Health and Safety Management System certificate documents.
MEASURES WERE TAKEN FOR ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
In order to realize the environmental policy and targets at the port, increasing environmental awareness, preventing occupational accidents by creating risk management, implementing energy efficiency projects, improving waste management plans, paying attention to the use of environmentally friendly vehicles, taking measures to prevent water and soil pollution, greenhouse gas management plan and emission Measurements were made, environmental noise measurements were made and precautions were taken in this regard.
Instilling awareness that the responsibility for the environment, occupational health and safety is the responsibility of every employee, risk analysis, statistics, training, management of corrective and preventive activities, hygiene measurements, regular operation and maintenance of our waste water treatment facilities, field controls and inspections are constantly carried out to prevent negative environmental effects.
